Just received, and I’m so excited! Set of 15 (pulled one from the box for the picture) set of fairy lights. I pulled the little plastic covering over the battery and flipped the little switch to turn it on.No remote or timer capabilities, but the company did include replacement batteries, which is great as the battery life appears to only be 12 hours. So it’s going to be up to me to remember to turn these off so I don’t burn through one in a day.Love the fact that there’s 15 in a package. Love that they included additional batteries. Love the compact size. I guess the offset is the battery life. Still very, very happy with my purchase.

I wanted these because the battery unit is very thin and small and fits perfectly under the lid of a small mason jar. I used this removable sticky stuff to attach to the underside of the lid so it’s hidden..and then uncoiled the light string and shoved it down in the mason jar. They will be used on tables and shelves outside for parties. It’s a bit cooler color than “Warm white”…but it’s not that sterile bluish white light that I hate. I would say these are in the 3000 k (kelvin range). I would prefer even warmer (yellower) light, but these are still very good..not too sterile looking. One suggestion – go ahead and pull the plastic tab that separates the batter from the metal connector and turn them all on to see if there are any broken ones. For me, ONE of the 15 units did not work. I tried all the suggestions from the company, but since they do not sell/send out individual units, they refunded me $1.30 for the one unit. Their customer service was great. Very attentive and remedied the problem. I’m left with 14 units, but that’s ok….I really didn’t need that many anyway.

For basically a buck a piece these LEDs are really bright and clear. The battery packs that come with them are basic and get the job done although I would doubt how long they will last for. I soldered them to USB cables for power and they work just fine.

I use these lights for my mantle and stand-alone decorations so I don’t have plugs going everywhere and my toddler can’t reach them. This is my third year ordering this product and I couldn’t be happier. The extra batteries are easy to change, and although the battery life is not too long it’s what I would expect. Tiny screws make changing the batteries a pain, but you do not have to use them if you don’t want to. If you have a little one it’s worth the tiny screwdriver to keep the batteries in place!
