I love solar lights. I have the whole front of my porch decorated with solar lights. Including solar mobile‘s and solar pathway lights and solar flame type pathway lights. Most of which I have ordered online. I like these a lot because of the way that they are very fairy string lights. That means that the way that the light is positioned on the strand it is only a tiny little bubble light thing so it makes it safe for you to put it on the railing or a place where you might put your hands on it and not have to worry about hitting a bulb or breaking it or having pain. This is the only type of solar lights That I still need to get an order to finish up a certain section of my porch. So now I was able to finish wrapping up the railings. The item came already with a charge on it but I did set it out in the sun to fully charge first. It was quick and easy set up and it was glowing that night and has blown every night since then. The time on how long they glow depends on how much son they get so if it has been a cloudy day they do not last as long

They are rather fragile and they are not bright like Christmas lights but they make a beautiful soft glow. I have had 5 or 6 sets of these lights, some for over two years. I leave them out in all weather, including winter snow and they are still working. You do have to adjust or clean off the solar panel once in a while if it gets dirt on it or gets blocked from the sun. And I did chop one set apart with a pick (my fault obviously). I put them around my flower beds because they are supposed to scare the critters, although I’m not so sure they do that. But they look very pretty and my neighbors have complimented them.

The lights are great, bright and durable. The only issue I have is that one of the stakes is missing a piece. Other than that, these lights are very, very nice and I would buy them again. Actually, this is my second set, that’s how much I like them.

I used these to fill a lantern I bought last month for my front porch. They stay lit all night, and it’s fun to change the twinkle pattern every so often.

I was pretty impressed especially considering the low cost. I have a large yard and have several sets. They are not for high traffic areas as the string is very fine but in the gardens, they look great and have held up to extremely high wind and water. I actually like the copper string because you can bend it around things easily and it stays. They don’t really throw light very far, maybe 3 feet, but light up whatever I put them on and glow all over the gardens!

We built a split rail fence at the front of our property by the road and added these to help highlight it until people got used to it being there… was not really expecting it to last more than a few months, but they are still going strong and look good. worth the money.
